These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Stylen mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Engin ATAN (Atan Labs) ("we", "our", or "us"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

• "Service" — The Stylen mobile application, website, and all related features.
• "User" — Any individual who creates an account and uses the Service.
• "Content" — Photos, outfits, comments, and other materials uploaded or created by Users.
• "AI Features" — Outfit recommendations, clothing analysis, background removal, and smart shopping powered by artificial intelligence.
• "Premium/PRO" — Paid subscription tiers with extended features and usage limits.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Stylen. If you are under 18, you must have parental or legal guardian consent. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts is prohibited.
• You must verify your email address to access certain features (e.g., AI features).
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at support@stylen.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Use of the Service

4.1 Permitted Uses

• Creating and managing your personal wardrobe
• Generating AI outfit recommendations
• Sharing outfits within the Stylen community
• Interacting with other users (following, likes, comments)
• Using premium features through a valid subscription

4.2 Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to:

• Upload illegal, offensive, sexually explicit, or harmful content
• Harass, bully, or threaten other users
• Use the Service for commercial purposes without authorization
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
• Bypass usage limits, rate limits, or security measures
• Create fake accounts or manipulate the referral system
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Service
• Share or redistribute AI-generated content for commercial purposes
• Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

5. AI Features and Limitations

5.1 How AI Works

Stylen uses AI technologies from the following providers to enhance your experience:

• OpenAI (GPT-4o-mini) — Outfit recommendations, clothing analysis, style advice, voice assistant
• API4AI — Background removal from clothing photos

All AI requests are processed through our secure backend servers located in the EU (Belgium). Images sent for AI processing are temporary and are not stored by the AI providers after processing.

5.2 AI Disclaimer

• AI recommendations are suggestions only and should not be taken as professional fashion advice.
• AI outputs may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate.
• We do not guarantee specific results from AI features.
• AI features may change, improve, or be temporarily unavailable.
• We reserve the right to change AI service providers without prior notice.

5.3 Usage Limits

AI features are subject to daily and monthly usage limits. These limits vary by subscription tier (Free, PRO). Current limits are displayed in the app. We reserve the right to adjust limits at any time.

6. User Content

6.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all Content you upload to Stylen. By uploading Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and process your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6.2 Content Responsibility

• You are solely responsible for the Content you upload.
• You represent that you have the right to upload all Content.
• We do not monitor all Content but reserve the right to remove Content that violates these Terms.

6.3 Community Content

Content shared within the community is visible to other users. By sharing outfits publicly, you acknowledge that other users can view, like, and comment on your content.

7. Premium Subscriptions

7.1 Subscription Plans

Stylen offers premium subscription plans (monthly and yearly) through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

7.2 Billing and Payment

• Payments are processed by the respective app store (Google Play / Apple App Store).
• We do not collect or store credit card information.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Prices may vary by region and are displayed at the point of purchase.

7.3 Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your store account.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refund requests are subject to the respective store's refund policy.
• We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

7.4 Referral Program

Stylen offers a referral program that may grant temporary premium access (Lite PRO) for successfully referring new users. Abuse of the referral system (fake accounts, device manipulation, etc.) may result in account suspension and revocation of benefits.

8. Advertising

Stylen may display advertisements, including rewarded video ads provided by Google AdMob. By using the free version of the Service, you consent to receiving ads. Premium subscribers may have an ad-free or reduced-ad experience.

Ad delivery is subject to Google AdMob's policies. You must not engage in fraudulent or artificial ad interactions (e.g., repeatedly clicking on your own ads).

9. Intellectual Property

• The Stylen name, logo, design, and codebase are the intellectual property of Atan Labs.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the Service.
• AI-generated outfit recommendations are provided as suggestions; no intellectual property rights are transferred.
• Third-party trademarks (Google, OpenAI, API4AI, RevenueCat, AdMob) remain the property of their respective owners.

10. User Conduct and Community Guidelines

• Treat other users with respect.
• Do not upload hate speech, discriminatory, or violent content.
• Do not share personal information of others without their consent.
• Report inappropriate content or behavior using the in-app reporting feature.
• Users found violating community guidelines may be warned, suspended, or permanently banned.

11. Account Termination

11.1 Termination by User

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion:

• All personal data and uploaded photos will be permanently deleted.
• Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through your store account.
• Deletion is irreversible.

11.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms or community guidelines
• Engage in fraudulent or abusive activity
• Are inactive for an extended period (12+ months)

We will provide notice when possible, but reserve the right to act immediately for serious violations.

12. Service Availability

• The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
• Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
• We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI recommendations.
• We are not liable for third-party service interruptions (Firebase, OpenAI, API4AI, AdMob).
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.
• We are not liable for data loss caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Atan Labs, its affiliates, and its agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your Content
• Your violation of any third-party rights

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT AI FEATURES WILL PRODUCE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, OR SATISFACTORY RESULTS. USE OF AI FEATURES IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising from the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, Turkey.

For EU users, disputes may also be resolved through the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
