This Privacy Policy explains how Stylen ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Stylen mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By using Stylen, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

App activity and usage behavior (screens visited, features used)

Approximate location data (if enabled, for weather-based recommendations)

2.3 Personalization Data

Stylen collects user preferences, outfit choices, likes, dislikes, feedback, and interaction data to improve AI recommendations and personalize the experience. This data is processed locally and on our secure servers.

5. AI Processing

Stylen uses artificial intelligence technologies provided by third-party services to enhance your experience. The following AI operations are performed:

All AI requests are routed through our secure backend servers (Firebase Cloud Functions) in the European Union (Belgium). Your API keys and credentials are never exposed to third-party services.

We do not sell user images or personal data. Images are not used for AI model training unless you explicitly opt in.

6. Cloud Storage

Photos uploaded by users are stored in Firebase Cloud Storage (Google Cloud, EU region) to allow access across devices and maintain the outfit collection. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

7. Social Features

Stylen includes community features such as:

User profiles (username, display name, profile photo)
Following and being followed by other users
Likes and comments on shared outfits
Outfit sharing within the community

Content shared by users is visible to other users. You can control your visibility through app settings. Users can block and report other users.

8. Advertising

Stylen may display advertisements through Google AdMob, including:

Rewarded video ads (optional, in exchange for extra AI credits)
Promotional partnerships (future feature)

Google AdMob may collect device advertising identifiers and limited device information to deliver relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

These services process data only as necessary to support the application functionality.

10. Referral System

Stylen offers a referral program where users can invite others to the app. When referral conditions are met, the referring user may receive temporary premium access (Lite PRO). Referral data includes referral codes and activation counts. Fraud prevention measures are in place to prevent abuse of the referral system.

11. Premium Membership

Stylen offers premium subscription features. Payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play Store / Apple App Store and RevenueCat.

We never see or store your credit card information
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
Subscription management is done through your store account
Refund requests are subject to respective store policies

13. Analytics and Diagnostics

Collects anonymous usage statistics (screens visited, feature usage)

Firebase Crashlytics

Collects crash logs and device information when errors occur
Used for troubleshooting and stability improvements
Does not collect personal content

All AI API requests are routed through our Firebase Cloud Functions server located in the EU (Belgium), ensuring data does not leave the EU unnecessarily.

15. Data Security

We implement the following security measures:

TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit
Encryption at rest for stored data
Firebase Authentication for secure user access
Server-side API key management (keys never exposed to client)
Rate limiting and IP-based throttling to prevent abuse
Email verification requirement for AI features
Automated suspicious activity monitoring

However, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

16. Data Retention

Account data: Retained while account is active. Deleted upon account deletion request.
Uploaded photos: Retained while account is active. Deleted upon account deletion.
AI processing data: Not retained by AI providers after processing.
Analytics data: Retained in anonymized form for up to 14 months.
Crash logs: Retained for up to 90 days.
Usage/rate limit data: Reset daily, retained for up to 30 days.

Users may request deletion of their data at any time by contacting support@stylen.app.

17. User Rights

All users have the right to:

Request deletion of their data
Request a copy of their data (data portability)
Withdraw consent for data processing
Object to processing based on legitimate interest

19. KVKK (Turkey)

20. Children's Privacy

Stylen is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

21. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify users through the app or by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
